OneXOne (Toby/Zoey)

"I can't imagine what could be more surprising than that, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt..." she shrugged and continued to eat her noms.

He smiled and ate his as well, he was really excited. He finished his food and looked at her.

"Well...are you ready for it or not yet?"

She grinned "I'm ready if you are, Buscus." she couldn't wait to see what it was he had in mind for her.

He smiled and the waiter came back and had their dessert and there was a little note for her. He held onto the ring and just waited for her to see the note and so he could read it to her.

"Hm...what's this?" she picked up the note and began to read it, smiling a little bit.

He smiled and began to recite it, "Roses are red, Violets are blue, My last name is Turner..." he pulled the ring out and took her hand, "Yours should be too."

He held his breath and waited for her to answer.

She looked up and saw him holding the ring. At first she was confused, but then it all started to come together.

"Toby...are you asking me what I think you're asking me...?"

He smiled and nodded, "I am asking you...to take my last name and make me happier then I could ever be..."

He just waited for her to say something...the answer.

"Oh my God!" she cried "Toby, yes! Yes I'll marry you!" she covered her mouth with her free hand, tears welling in her eyes.

He smiled and put the key on her finger. He then pulled her into a deep kiss and just held her close to him, he was so happy that she had said yes.

She kissed him for a moment or two before pulling away. She looked at her ring and beamed "It's gorgeous, Toby...I can't believe..."

He held her close and just looked at the ring, "But not as gorgeous as you..."

He kissed the top of her head and smiled.

"I can't believe I'm doing this, but..." she pulled her phone out of a pocket and took a picture "I have to. Erica will want to see this." she laughed and slid her phone back into her pocket and hugged him around the waist.

"We're getting married!" she squealed.

He laughed and smiled, "Hehe...yes...we are...I am so glad that you said yes...I was so worried that you might say no..."

"I wouldn't ever have said no to you ("the writer has rendered me incapable of such!")...I've been waiting for this for awhile..." she laughed "I didn't think you were even going to get around to asking me."

"Oh no...I was...I was actually planning it for a few months...I was going to do it last night but...this was more...appropriate."

"Yeah. More appropriate when it's just us...I like this a lot better because there's no direct pressure for me to say 'yes'. We might have turned out like Trip and Grace otherwise!" she kissed his cheek.

"Are you ready to go home now?"

He laughed and nodded, "I am ready if you are...haha....but you just asked me so.."

"Then I am, too." she they payed their bill (xP) and laughed.

Time Jump!

Zoey hadn't been feeling well for the past couple of days-this had been going on for awhile, but she had quite recently started vomiting a lot more. She had her suspicions about what was going on, but so far hadn't had the chance to check.

She was in the midst of editing a YouTube video when she noticed her stomach was aching a fair bit. It had been doing this off and on for several days and obviously there was something going on beyond what she could tell. Deciding that it couldn't hurt she Googled 'pregnancy symptoms'.

Toby was in the other room, reading a book, unaware that she was having these pains and side affects. He felt strange though, like something was wrong and he should go check on her...

She scrolled through different websites, reading different lists and seeing what different women said about their own experiences. A lot of the symptoms matched what was going on with Zoey, but there was only one way to be sure.

Closing the internet, she sat there for a moment. There were pregnancy tests in the bathroom-all she had to do was go and take one.

Toby saw her walking and he got up and followed, "Hey, Zoe...are you alright?"

He looked at her and seemed worried.

(She wasn't walking but fuck it. Now she is. xP)

"I'm fine. Just going to the bathroom." she smiled at him "That's uh...still okay, right? Not illegal or something?"

He looked at her, "No but you have been off lately...and I was just worried about you...but."

He backed off a but and just nodded at her.

"I'm okay, Buscus. I promise. I'll be right out." she went into the bathroom, closing and locking the door behind her. Taking the test out from it's box, she did what she had to and then set it on the counter.

"Now to wait..." she murmured.
